Since I was the second shooter for this beautiful wedding, I didn’t get the opportunity to meet the bride and groom ahead of time. That did not, however, stop Maureen and Luke from being some of the most warm and welcoming people I’ve ever met! As the second shooter, I’m a bit more removed from the bride and groom and do what I can to assist the primary shooter throughout the day. Maureen and Luke (and their entire wedding party!) continued to just bring me in on their fun from the moment I shot the wedding ceremony until I left for the night. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
The day started at the amazingly ornate St. Clement’s Church in Lincoln Park. After the ceremony, we hopped aboard a limo bus to the Adler Planetarium for some skyline views and then to Lasalle St. for some classic city street shots.
I’m so grateful for every opportunity I get to second shoot for a photographer. It gives me a deeper understanding of the wedding day and allows me to help in any way I can as we travel around the city shooting. Thank you to Jill of Jill Tiongco Photography for bringing me along to second shoot for her that day. I truly love working with Jill and learn so much from her each time. Her attention to detail and style are awesome.
