Maylen+Joey: Chicago Engagement Photographer

Oh.My.Goodness.  Loooooved this session!  We were originally going to try the zoo, but ended up at Thorncreek Nature Center as our “back up” location.  This location was anything but second best!  It was a new spot for me (and for Maylen + Joey) and it was uh-mazing.

I might consider doing a senior session here, but this spot is absolutely perfect for engagements.  There’s just something about it that lends to a romantic feel.  Maylen and Joey were troopers as we trekked deep into the woods to find just the right spots; the best of which was a pine grove with sunlight streaming through.  I loved seeing these two in love.  It was a great reminder of just how awesome life can be when you’re living it with the one you love.
