What a great party! I continue to be fortunate enough to help other parents celebrate the birthdays of their children – especially their first birthdays. What an awesome thing to celebrate!
From the moment I arrived at Carter’s party I could tell that this little guy is surrounded by friends and family that love him very much. It was so awesome to see all of the people there celebrating and having a great time just hanging out with each other.
Carter’s mommy did a great job setting the scene for his jungle-themed birthday party and his daddy even baked and decorated the smash cake himself. Between the tiger tails (cheetos) and bamboo boats (fritos), there were loads of other jungle-themed snacks to munch on. I love it when parents make a themed party. I’ve done that over the years with own kids and thanks to Pinterest, there a ton of ideas out there for the creative party-minded parent.
At Carter’s birthday party, there were kids everywhere and I loved it. My hands-down most favorite subjects to photograph are kids in their element and there were some many cutie pies there that were happy to just walk right up to me for a sweet picture.
