Phoebe in the Park: Chicago Child Photographer

I met Phoebe at the park with her mommy and when we first got started, she wasn’t so sure about me.  She wanted to hold on to her mommy and never let go.  It was really precious to see how much she loves her mom and I am thrilled that I was able to capture just a bit of that love for a few moments as she clung to her.  That is honestly one of my favorite parts about photographing children – capturing them just the way they are.

Soon enough she warmed up while she played on the playground equipment.  I mean, who doesn’t smile when it comes to the slide and teeter totter?  Thank you, precious, tiny Phoebe for giving me a few smiles for your first birthday.  It was a pleasure photographing you just the way you are.
