I have had a few opportunities to work with this family and have been so blessed each time. It’s so great when I can work with a family over time and just watch their kids grow and grow and grow. This clan also happens to be friends of my family, so it’s a double bonus to snap their pictures.
For this session, we met out at Monee Reservoir. If you haven’t been out there, I highly recommend it. It is a hidden nature spot in the midst of the south suburbs with a lake and even canoes you can rent. From the website it looks like it has some pretty amazing winter landscapes, too. Now if I can just get someone bold enough to brave the cold to meet me out there for a session this winter…
