For the purposes of this contract, THE ORGANIZATION will be used to refer to the group hosting the fundraising event and THE CLIENT will be used to refer to each person that is photographed as a part of the fundraising event.

 

ENTIRE AGREEMENT: This agreement contains the entire understanding between Slumberland Photography and THE ORGANIZATION. It supersedes all prior and simultaneous agreements between the parties. The only way to change or add to this agreement is to do so in writing, providing the document is signed by all the relevant parties.

RESERVATION: Upon your signature, Slumberland Photography will reserve the time and date agreed upon, and will not make other reservations for that time and date.

PRE-EVENT CONSULTATION: The parties agree to a pre-event consultation before the event date in order to finalize the actual shooting times and locations. This may take place in person, on the phone, or via email.

COOPERATION: The parties agree to positive cooperation and communication for the best possible result within the definition of this assignment. Slumberland Photography is not responsible for key individuals’ failure to be present or to cooperate during photography sessions, neither for missed images due to details not revealed to Slumberland Photography.

SHOOTING TIME / ADDITIONS: The photography schedule and selected methodology are designed to accomplish the goals and wishes of THE ORGANIZATION in a manner enjoyed by all parties involved. THE ORGANIZATION and Slumberland Photography agree that positive cooperation and punctuality are therefore essential. Shooting commences at the scheduled time. Should the event start late due to any reason whatsoever, Slumberland Photography will not be held liable for any photographs not taken.

HOUSE RULES: The photographer is limited by the guidelines of the event site management. THE CLIENT agrees to accept the technical results of their imposition on the photographer. Negotiation with the event site for moderation of guidelines is THE CLIENT'S responsibility; Slumberland Photography will offer technical recommendations only.


 

COPYRIGHT RELEASE: Upon payment in full to Jacki Rutledge of Slumberland Photography of all amounts due to Slumberland Photography, ownership and possession of the digital images will be given to THE CLIENT. Slumberland Photography will share the copyright of photographs taken on the noted event date as samples of its work, for the purposes of advertising including printed publications, professional competition and online websites and social media. THE CLIENT has a right to deny the release of images by indicating as such on the individual session contracts.

MODEL RELEASE: THE CLIENT hereby assigns and grants Slumberland Photography and its legal representatives the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of THE CLIENT or in which THE CLIENT may be included, for editorial, trade, advertising or any other purpose and in any manner and medium; to alter the same without restriction; and to copyright the same. THE CLIENT hereby releases Slumberland Photography and its legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs. It is agreed that Slumberland Photography may display and use the photographs taken for advertising, display, website and internet promotion, photographic contests, public display such as in malls, photography books, photography instructional books, store fronts, window displays, studio display, television advertising, magazine advertising and any other purpose thought proper by Slumberland Photography. THE CLIENT has a right to deny the release of images by indicating as such on the individual session contracts.

COMPLETION SCHEDULE: The editing process takes approximately 5-10 business days. Once the images are edited, they will placed in an online gallery and delivered to THE CLIENT.

 

POST-PRODUCTION PROCESS: Photos will be edited to display proper lighting and color calibration. Minor touchups will be made on portaits (i.e. removing scratches or blemishes). If further edits are requested (i.e. removing objects or people or drastically modifying a subjet's appearance), additional charges will apply.


LIMIT OF LIABILITY: In the unlikely event of severe medical, natural, or other emergencies, it may be necessary to retain an alternative photographer. Slumberland Photography will make every effort to secure a replacement photographer able and/or willing to provide a similar package as chosen in this contract at the same/similar price. If such a situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event package. 


 

NON-GUARANTEE: Although every possible care will be taken to produce photographs of all important and special events during the event, Slumberland Photography cannot place an unconditional guarantee on the above. Slumberland Photography will not be held responsible for any ruined photographs due to guests’ (or any other) flashes; or any other ruined photographs due to any other cause in or outside of Slumberland Photography’s control.


 

AMENDMENTS: This contract has been freely negotiated and shall be recognized as the entirety of the agreement. Only those changes or modifications specifically placed in writing, attached, dated and signed by THE ORGANIZATION and Slumberland Photography at the time of acceptance of this contract shall be recognized as amendments to this contract.


 

PAYMENT: The final payments for all sessions booked for the fundraising event must be paid in full prior to the fundraising event date. Payment can be made via check, Zelle, or Venmo.

  • Dates of Fundraising Photo Event: October 4 & 18, 2025
  • Times of Fundraising Photo Event: 9am - 5pm (maximum of 26 appointments per day)
  • Location of Fundraising Photo Event: To Be Determined (Bannockburn Park, Bannockburn School, or nearby location)
  • Each appointment receives 5 high resolution images included in a 15 minute session for $150.
  • Additional images may be purchased a la carte or the entire gallery at prices determined by the photographer
  • The organization receives 25% of all photo session fees and photo orders within the first two weeks of gallery delivery.
